# Settlement wallet requirement

> Why WooCommerce connect requires a payout wallet.

  WooCommerce connect and invoice creation fail with HTTP 400 if no settlement (payout) wallet is configured.
</Warning>

## Error messages

The plugin surfaces friendly errors for:

* "Payout wallet not configured"
* "Settlement wallet" / "merchant wallet" / "payout" related errors

These link to Merchant Admin settlement configuration.

## Steps to resolve

1. Go to [app.meum.io](https://app.meum.io) → **Account → Organization settlement**
2. Configure payout address and output asset
3. Retry connect in WooCommerce settings
