# Create a store

> Create a Meum store for payments and integrations.

A **store** represents a merchant storefront or sales channel. API keys, integrations, and invoices are scoped to a store.

## Prerequisites

* Active Meum organization
* Logged in to [app.meum.io](https://app.meum.io)

## Steps

1. Open **Dashboard → Stores**
2. Click **New store**
3. Enter store name and optional slug (public profile at `meum.io/@{slug}`)
4. Save the store

## Expected result

A new store appears in your store list. You can switch between stores using the store selector in the dashboard header.
