# Customers

> Customer domain status for Public Merchant API v1.

## Public Customer API (not available)

Meum does **not** expose `/v1/customers` in Public Merchant API v1.

### What to use instead

* Pass customer context in invoice `metadata` or Woo `external_order_id`.
* Use **Merchant Admin** for wallet-based customer analytics (dashboard session only).

### Planned domain (not in v1)

A future Customer API may support store-scoped external customer IDs, separate from payer wallet addresses.
